ABOUT US

Blue Lake Resort has been a family owned and operated business since 2000
Our resort is where memories are made and last forever. We have an amazing clean, clear lake and a sand beach with a gradual safe decent into the water. There are hiking and biking trails next door to our resort as well as playground centers for the little ones. Sunsets here are the absolute best. Fishing is great and we have many other lakes close to the resort as well, with easy boat access. Just minutes to go and catch walleye, bass, northern, trout and the elusive musky.
We provide some water equipment and life jackets, free for use by our customers. We have one fishing boat available to rent, but you are welcome to bring your own. We do have a no pet policy.

Also, during your stay you can visit the Blue Lake Provincial Park, that offers several outdoor activities and entertainment for you and your family.

Where we are
Renowned for its crystal clear waters and long sandy beach, Blue Lake is an outstanding destination for all types of water activities
We are located in the shores of Blue Lake, 8 km from Vermilion Bay on Hwy 647, and 3 minutes walking distance from the Blue Lake Provincial Park.
Vermilion Bay is located on Ontario Highway 17 (Trans-Canada Highway) between the cities of Kenora to the west and Dryden to the east.
The city of Kenora, only 1 hour away, is a major tourism destination. The city is alive year-round with a variety of festivals and events happening often including Harbourfest during the August Long Weekend. Enjoy concerts under the tent at the harbourfront, restaurants, and shops or visit the local museum showcasing the history of the region.
